6 Weeks Old

Hannah is 6 weeks old today!

Here she is in her huge Patagonia vest from her cousin Ali. It's a size 3 months, but I think it will fit her next winter when she is 9 months!

Spring is here! The ducks are enjoying our pond out back.

Wide Awake!

Play Date

Hannah had her best (and only :) girlfriends over for a "play date" today. Hannah, Charli and Brooke all slept most of the day, but it was great to hang out with their moms - Stefanie and Jessica. We all met in our childbirth class and our girls are all about the same age. I didn't learn much in the class, aside from the fact the Jordan is not mature enough to watch childbirth videos, but I am so glad to have met Stefanie and Jessica. It is great having someone to talk to who is going through the exact same thing! I'm excited to watch the girls grow up together.

Teddy Bear

It was such a beautiful day today, but a bit cold so Hannah wore her teddy bear suit for our daily walk. I am so sad that the weekend is over and Jordan has to go back to work : (

Busy Week!

Now that we have been out and about, it's hard to find the time to post on the blog! Hannah is doing great and is sleeping better each week. She consistently sleeps for at least three hours at a time, and has even slept for five hours straight a few times. She is growing like crazy and has already outgrown a few of her smaller outfits. Unfortunately, most of her winter outfits will never fit her... I'll hold on to them for the next baby I guess. If it's a boy, he'll just have to embrace his feminine side!

One Month Check-up

Hannah had her one month check-up today and she has already gained close to 2 lbs - she is 7lbs 5oz! (We were not surprised because she eats constantly) She had her second Hepatitis B shot while she was at the doctor's office and was very sad : ( Poor Hannah!

Now that she is a month old we are spending a lot more time outside of the house. Today we met two friends for a walk and lunch. This weather has been incredible! I can't wait to spend the summer with Hannah.

One Month Old

Hannah is one month old today! Time has gone by so quickly, it feels like just yesterday that I found out I was pregnant. To celebrate the big day we are going to attempt our first meal at a restaurant tonight. Wish us luck!

Now that Hannah is a mature four week old, she slept from 11pm to 8am and just woke up for one bottle. Best night of my life!

Play Time

Hannah played on her Rainforest activity mat today and actually looked at all of the things hanging above her. Her vision is getting better each day!

Our First Outing

Hannah went for her first outing today to run a quick errand with me. It was a disaster! As soon as we got to the store, she wanted to eat (even though I fed her just before we left...) She had a bottle, and then I put her back into her car seat to leave and she spit up what looked like gallons of formula. Poor Hannah! Hopefully our next trip will be more successful.

Sleep Milestone

Hannah slept in her crib all night for the first time! She went to sleep at 11pm, woke up for a bottle at 2:30am and went right back to sleep until 6am. Please let this continue!!! Happiest night of my life - I actually got to sleep in my bed instead of on the couch.

Three Weeks Old!

Hannah is three weeks old today! Time is really flying by, it's hard to believe that she will be a month old next week.



We took advantage of the beautiful weather and went for our first walk. It was so nice to get out of the house, and Hannah and Sadie both seemed to enjoy the change in scenery.
