Baby Blues (And Messy Hair)

More Halloween!

We had Halloween parenting group this week, and Hannah had a great time hanging out with all of her friends in their costumes.





Today we had Hannah's Halloween Parade at school and she was a bit overwhelmed by all of the commotion, but seemed to have a nice time. Of course her favorite part was playing with her buddy Charli when we got back to the room. Hannah's teacher, Ms. Janeen, made us all carmel apples and the cutest pumpkins!

Halloween Costume

We had the family over to see Hannah in her Halloween costume. Since we have two parties on Halloween, we decided to see everyone this weekend so Hannah could show off her costume.

Hannah had her friend Keller over for a play date this afternoon and she just LOVES him! Poor Keller was a little overwhelmed by her "affection" (pinching, shreaking, hair pulling and toy stealing).

Almost 9 Months Photo Shoot

Trip to the Park

We all got home from work/school early today, so we went to the park. Hannah had the best time playing with daddy on the swing, slide and climbing structure while I took pictures. When we got home, she ate some kiwi and was too sleepy to even finish her dinner. The park really wore her out!

Hannah's apparently done with baby food. She hasn't been wanting it at home for a while, and her teacher at school told me she won't eat it for them anymore either. Apparently I better get used to packing her a real lunch every day... So far she has tried cream of broccoli soup, olives, cheese, chicken, beef, bread, cantaloupe, noodles, apples, pears, green beans, corn, blueberries, and sweet potato, and she loves them all.

Taking Sadie for a Walk

Hannah is such a big helper when we take Sadie out for walks. Today she even held (and attempted to eat) Sadie's leash. We stopped to rest on the back patio and they fought over who got to sit on Hannah's blanket. They eventually shared, but Sadie wasn't thrilled to have to sit so close to her sister.

I picked up Hannah's first school pictures today and she looks very studious!

Fall

We took some fall pictures of Hannah this morning hanging out inside and playing in the leaves. By playing in the leaves, I mean eating the leaves. She wasn't a fan of the cantaloupe I made for her myself this morning, but leaves are delicious... Oh well.

Hannah will be 8 months old tomorrow! New tricks this month:

• Creeping everywhere
• Moving from a sit position to her tummy to get into creeping position
• Babbling - Ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba......................................................
• Waving and saying bye bye - we aren't 100% positive if it's intentional or if it's a coincidence
• Walking if you hold her hands
• Eating food off the big person menu at restaurants - today she had soup at Olga's and LOVED it!
  

Sweater Weather

This weather is awful - we had to pull out Hannah's winter wardrobe! She does look mighty cute in her Ralph Lauren sweater...

Game Day

Hannah dressed up in her UofM jersey for the game today, and was so sad that they lost. At least she looked cute in her new jersey!

Art Project

Hannah made daddy a picture yesterday using her new baby markers. They are round so she can grab them easily. Mommy may have helped a little...

Standing Around

Hannah is really starting to enjoy her Laugh and Learn table. She can stand on her own for a while now without falling down and loves to play with all of the different activities. It has an English and a Spanish setting, so I'm sure she will learn Spanish fluently...
