Hannah has really become quite a character these days. She loves to tell stories, and I frequently catch her "embellishing"...
Stolen Lunch
Me to Hannah - "Hannah, your school report said you ate your whole lunch today, that's great!" Hannah's response "No, Brooke ate it."
Brooke eats just like Hannah, nothing. Had she said Charli "shared" her lunch I might have believed her...
Potty at School
Me to Hannah - "Did you go potty at school today?" Hannah's very excited and proud response, "Yes, I went potty at school mommy!"
Sneaky Hannah just wanted to earn a sticker toward her potty prize. Her teacher said that every time they asked if she wanted to try to go, Hannah said no, she wanted to play. Oh Hannah... even when I called her out, she still stuck by her story that she went potty at school. We are going to be in trouble when she is a teenager.
Potty at Mina's (My Mom)
Hannah had a sleepover at my mom's, and my mom went to the bathroom. Hannah told her "good job Mina!" All of this potty training encouragement is apparently getting through to her. She is even passing the encouragement on to others. Maybe she will be in charge of potty training her brother or sister.

Jeepers!
Hannah had the best time at Jeepers, and she went on both rides all by herself. First she rode the train, and was ready to go on again until I showed her the flying bananas. I loaded her onto a banana and asked the ride attendant if she was really old enough to ride by herself. She said sure, and off Hannah went. That ride went high and fast! I was shocked Hannah didn't get scared. Her face was pretty stoic the whole time, but I think she was really proud to have ridden a big kid ride all by herself.

What a Day!
First, a great ultrasound, and then Hannah went number two on her potty for the first time. Hannah was in the tub, and I could tell she had to go. I took her out and started taking her to put a diaper on, and she said she wanted to go on her potty. What a great moment - funny how the highlights of your day change when you are a mom...
12 Weeks Pregnant with Baby Bolton Two
We had our 12 week ultrasound today, and everything looked perfect. BB2 was fast asleep until the very end, and then he/she woke up and was tumbling all over the place. Unfortunately, we didn't get any great pictures this time but you can see a little leg shooting up on the right. Can't wait for the 18-20 week ultrasound!

Back to the Zoo
We went back to the Zoo with Aunt Sara and Macy today, and the weather was incredible! We had the Zoo to ourselves, which was shocking on such a nice day. All of the animals were active, especially the chimps and gorillas. After visiting the girls favorite exhibit, Arctic Ring of Life, we had a nice picnic lunch at the Zoo. On our way out we stopped at Amphibiville for the first time, and Hannah loved being able to climb up right next to the glass and watch the animals.
In other news, Hannah is starting to show more interest in her potty. She went three times today, and insisted on wearing her underwear to bed (over a diaper for now...). Jordan took her off the potty before bed thinking she didn't need to go, and she had a complete meltdown. Sure enough, we put her back on the potty and she went immediately. She was so proud!
Happy St. Patrick's Day!
The Hays' had a St. Patrick's Day party, and Hannah had a blast playing with all of her friends. Of course the green cupcakes were a big hit with Hannah - she loves sprinkles and frosting.

More Ice Cream
We walked to Dairy Deluxe with cousin Sabrina and both girls were covered with ice cream and sprinkles by the time we got home. So happy it's spring! Can't wait to put on my summer ice cream weight and blame pregnancy.

Denver Vacation
We had a wonderful vacation in Denver! Hannah was fantastic on the flight, and just ate and watched movies the entire time. Our house that we rented was wonderful, and it was great staying with Safta Linda, Aunt Sara, Uncle Ian and Macys. Our first night in Denver, we had a sleepover party with Hannah's cousin Dora who is 4, and the girls had such a nice time. Dora is such a great big cousin to Hannah and was extremely patient with her. We visited the Downtown Aquarium, and all of the girls loved it. I wish we had a nice aquarium in Michigan. This morning Hannah and Macy played dress up in their new St. Patrick's Day attire in preparation for next week.

Baby Bolton 2 Update
We found out on Sunday, January 23rd, that Hannah is going to be a big sister! I guess it's time to update the name of the blog. Baby Bolton 2 (BB2) is due to arrive October 1st, 2011.
At 7 weeks, the nausea kicked in… And unlike my very healthy first pregnancy, I was sick with three separate ailments in the first 3 weeks after finding out I was pregnant. Sickness 1: cold; Sickness 2: low fever and nausea; Sickness 3: Sore throat, low fever, congestion and nausea. I think the nausea is pregnancy related, but adds a nice touch to being sick… I also have had quite a bit of cramping. Thank goodness spring is almost here and cold/flu season will be over!
We had our first ultrasound on 2/22/11, and everything looked perfect! The baby is measuring just right for 8 weeks, and the heart rate was 162. We took Hannah to get a first peak at her baby brother/sister, and she was great. She even sat with me while I had my blood work done, and she told me what color vials they were using (she got purple right…). I am feeling much better now, with no nausea and very few bouts of exhaustion. Hopefully it will last!

Happy 2nd Birthday, Charli!
We celebrated Charli's birthday today, and the girls had a blast. They ate dinner at their own big girl table, played (read destroyed) every room in the house, tried on Charli's dress-up clothes (and fought over who got to wear what), helped open presents, and the highlight was eating cupcakes. Happy 2nd Birthday Charli!

Date Night with Nate and Jake
We went for dinner and ice cream with Nate and Jake tonight, and as usual the highlight was ice cream. The three of them even played a game of chess while we were at Oberweis. Highlight of my night? Jake asked me to marry him. I told him I was taken, so he asked Hannah instead.
