Like Mommy?
Hannah looked just like her daddy when she was born, but I think Ella looks a lot like I did as a baby. Here I am at 4 days and again at around 5 months:
I had thick dark hair too, but mine didn't stand straight up.

Sponsored by Puma
Hannah loved Ella's Puma outfit so much, that she asked if she could have it when it got too big on Ella. We explained that outfits don't get bigger, but we would try to get it for her in a bigger size. I found it at the Macy's one day sale and Hannah was so excited! She loves to match her baby sister.
Lilah's 1st Visit
Lilah came over to our house yesterday and met her cousins Ella and Hannah. We are so lucky to have 4 girls so close in age! While Hannah and Macy played, Ella and Lilah hung out with Unky Ian who was in baby heaven.
Annual Tree Lighting
We met up with the Hays' and Pulis' for our annual dinner and tree lighting. Since Hannah already had plans with Mina for a sleepover, we missed the tree lighting, but Hannah had a great time having dinner with Brooke and Charli. Ella also got to meet her "friends" Josephine and Kendyl. I hope they are as close when they grow up as their older sisters. Ella slept through their first playdate, but I'm sure there will be many more in the future.

Sleepover at Mina's
My mom bought matching PJs for herself and Hannah that they wore for their sleepover this week. Hannah was so excited to match Mina!
On the Ice
Wednesday afternoon we bought Hannah and Macy their first pair of ice skates, and the daddies couldn't wait to get the girls on the ice. This morning we met up with Aunt Sara, Unky Ian and Macy for the parent/tot skate and Hannah LOVED skating! She enjoyed skating holding Unky Ian and daddy's hands, and also liked when they held her and skated fast. She did great on the skates and was running around in them off the ice. She did attempt to sit down on the ice and eat it a few times.
Hannah and Jordan are planning to head back tomorrow morning for another skate with Unky Ian and Macy. Hopefully this will become a nice Saturday morning ritual for them, and Hannah will learn to skate from her daddy. I wonder if she will be a figure skater or hockey player - I know what her dad is hoping for...

Thankful
Jordan's family has a tradition of writing in a Thanksgiving book each year about what they are thankful for - each grandkid gets a special book to write out their list. When I asked Hannah what she was thankful for, she said candy. When I asked her if there was anything else, she said Trick or Treats and M&M's. Smart girl!
We have so much to be thankful for this year. I am thankful for a healthy and happy baby, a wonderful toddler who has adapted so well to being a big sister and a perfect husband (at least that is what he tells me...). I'm also thankful that Movember is almost over and Jordan can shave off his mustache!
We had a delicious Thanksgiving dinner at Safta and Zayde's, and then Hannah and her cousins put on their PJs for a sleepover. This is the first time Hannah is sleeping there with her cousins - fingers crossed that she actually sleeps!

French Couture
Aunt Steph and Unky Mike brought the girls home adorable outfits from France. Here is Ella modeling her new sweater. I tried to shoot on manual for the first time - a little fuzzy, but not too bad.

Welcome Baby Lilah!
Lilah finally made her grand appearance today after weeks of waiting! She weighed in at 8lbs 8oz - almost as big as her 2 month old cousin Ella! We are so excited to have another niece/cousin and can't wait to watch Ella and Lilah become best buddies just like their older sisters.
Visit From Avery
Rachael, Avery and Hung came to visit this weekend and Ella was so excited to meet someone just her age! Avery is almost a month older than Ella, and it was so nice to finally meet her! I was too pregnant to travel to meet her in Indiana when she was born. We had a great weekend and can't wait to visit them soon! Hannah gave Hung the American name Henry and was very excited to hang out with the new babies. She also made sure to get in on the photo shoot - she is such character!

Ella is Almost 2 Months!
It's hard to believe that Ella will be two months old tomorrow! Time flies by even more quickly with two then it did with one.
Ella at 2 Months:
- Size: 0-3 Months (Will know stats after her 2 month appt next week)
- Favorite Activities: Just started to like her swing and car seat, loves her playmat and sitting in the highchair at the kitchen table
- Sleep: Slept 9pm to 7am last night just waking up at 3am for 15 minutes to eat (fingers crossed that this continues!)
- Eating: 4 oz bottles
- Talking: Starting to coo more each day
- Smiling: Definitely purposeful, and greets me with a big smile when I go to get her each morning
- Standing: Starting to stand pretty well when she is wearing her crib Pumas

Happy 2nd Birthday, Nate!
We went to MyGym for Nate's 2nd birthday this evening and Hannah had a great time playing with her cousin Macy and Unky Ian. During the group picture, Hannah made friends with the girl sitting next to her, and proceeded to show her every tattoo on her (she currently has three)... It was so fun to watch her interact with the other kids. In other Hannah news, she has an imaginary friend now, Perry. She has been talking about Perry all weekend. I wonder how long Perry will stick around.
Ella stayed home and relaxed in her swing. She is wearing her new Puma's and even has her little legs crossed. She is growing up so fast!

Sharing a Ride
I decided Ella was ready for a ride in the double stroller and took the girls out for a walk this afternoon. Hannah was so excited to share the stroller with her sister, and insisted they share a blanket too. So sad that winter is on its way, it was so nice to get outside!

Hannah Loves Yoga
Hannah got a package in the mail today from her Uncle Mike and Aunt Lori with a kids yoga mat and video. She LOVED the video and as soon as it ended she asked to watch it again. She doesn't quite have the patience/attention span for it yet, but she definitely enjoyed it!

Family Dinner
We decided to put Ella in the highchair at dinner tonight so she could be a part of our family dinner - it reclines so it works for all ages. She loved the highchair, but apparently found the conversation at dinner to be pretty boring.

Ella's Newborn Shoot with MAK
Here are some of the pictures Kelly shot at Ella's newborn shoot - I love the pictures of the two girls together. They really capture how much Hannah loves her baby sister!

First Sleepover with a "Friend"
Hannah slept at her buddy (and cousin) Macy's house last night. I haven't gotten the overnight report yet, but it sounds like the girls had a blast together. They ate cupcakes, went to Toys R Us for Hannah to pick out a special potty training present and went right to bed. Hopefully Hannah slept for them... Thank you Aunt Sara and Unky Ian!
In Ella news, she had her best night of sleep yet, only waking up once between 11:30PM and 8:15AM.
