We stayed at a great house in Cherry Creek so the kids could hang out. Hannah got to share a room with Safta which she loved. Lilah and Ella got to hang out on the playmat and were both excited to be with someone their own age.
We took Dora with us to the Natural Science Museum and explored the discovery zone. Hannah got to uncover dinosaur bones in a "tar pit". We then headed to a special live lizards and snakes exhibit and almost got eaten by a snake. After that, we watched a Sesame Street movie in the plantarium on space exploration and Ella was mesmerized. She sat on her Uncle Mike's lap and never took her eyes off the characters. Hannah loved it too, and sang along to all of the songs.
We got a ton of family time, and Ella and Hannah both enjoyed hanging out with Great Grandpa Martin. Ella got to relax on his lap, and he and Hannah caught up holding hands on a walk home from the park. All of the cousins had a great time playing at the park and kicking around the soccer ball. Hannah is still dressing herself, and frequently has her shirt on backwards and shoes on the wrong feet. She has also been dictating her hairstyles. She loves dress up too - the stranger the outfit the better,
Ella and I snuck outside to get some fresh air while everyone was sleeping, and she got to wear the Patagonia vest from her cousin - Thanks Ali! She is so close to sitting up on her own, but thinks it's a great game to fall over and have her mommy catch her.
We also got to catch up with some friends at a great park in their neighborhood. It was gorgeous with the mountains all around us.
