Aunt Shirley's 90th
We celebrated Aunt Shirley's 90th birthday at Mac & Rays and it was a wonderful party. The Phillips bought the girls each magic wands, and had party blowers on the tables. Both were big hits! Hannah loved hanging out with her cousin Chelsea and fiancé Justin, and has asked to go live with them in California. Hannah, Macy, Ella and Lilah all helped Aunt Shirley blow out her birthday candles before devouring cupcakes and chocolate covered strawberries.
Zoo with Luke (AKA Lovey)
We met up with the Hutsons at the zoo and Hannah renamed Luke, Lovey. It was a beautiful day and we saw a lot! We did the Arctic Ring of Life, Prairie Dogs (they had a Prairie Dog that looked just like Hannah), the bears, the giraffes, the carousel (Luke's first time), saw the new 4D movie - Rio 4D which the girls both loved, and got to do science experiments in the education building. We made slime, silly putty, butterfly tissues, colored with radishes and planted a terrarium. Both girls took GREAT naps (and mom and dad too)!

Ella's First Art Show
Between Science Fairs and Art Shows, this has been a big month for the Boltons! Ella's school had a big art show where each student had a few pieces, and each class did a few group pieces. They were amazing! Even the infants made beautiful sunshines with footprints. Ella made a beautiful bleeding tissue canvas, a golf ball roller art and two pencil holders. We bought the two pictures, and Aunt Val bought the pencil holders. Softa bid on some of the whole class auction items, and Jordan and I bid on one as well. Guessing we will find out shortly if we won! Aunt Sara and the girls came too, and it was a really nice night. Ella was focused on eating, she was starving after an afternoon at the park. And Hannah loved the mosaic materials they had and made a wonderful mosaic with artist Aunt Val.

Dinner Club at the Harris'
The Harris' hosted an Asian themed dinner club and all of the kids were thrilled to play outside. Roger and Russell have a rope swing and they all took turns going for a ride. Hannah had a run-in with a tree, but recovered quickly. After dinner they all got to decorate Easter eggs. Big shocker - Ella ate hers immediately after she dyed it.

Bowling
We took the girls bowling for the first time, and they both loved it! We met our friends Ozzy and Junot there, and then headed for lunch and ice cream. Hannah just loves Ozzy so much - so sad that they are moving back to Colorado at the end of the school year.

Hannah's Science Fair
Hannah participated in a science fair at school today and did an amazing job. She put together a beautiful presentation board on how the valves of the heart work. She asked 4 doctors to explain in their own words, then chose a font and font color and we printed out the responses. She then decorated the board and chose a picture of the heart to include. Here are some pictures and a video from the big event! Hannah was so lucky to have Mina, Softa, Sammi, and Poppy all come to see her exhibit.
Passover
We had a wonderful Passover with visits from Aunt Steph, Unky Mike, and Aunt Linda. This will be Steph and Mike's last visit before my nephew arrives, and she looks adorable with her baby bump. We went to the Wings game, visited with a recovering Grandma Joanie (knee surgery) and had three seders. We went to Aunt Nancy and Uncle Harvey's where Hannah found the afikomen (not much competition with Ella watching while she ate), Softa's where Hannah found the afikomen that Sara and I stole and hid during the seder to keep the little ones occupied, and Papa Stevy and Big Al's where Hannah AGAIN found the afikomen (while Ella again stood by eating and watching). The payout on the last night include silver dollars, chocolate Easter bunnies, and chocolate bars of money. The girls were ecstatic!
