Sam and Poppy's Wedding Weekend

We had a busy and wonderful weekend celebrating Sam and Poppy's wedding.  Friday night we went to a beautiful BBQ on Sylan Lake at the Musts.  The girls loved dancing to the live music and watching the dogs retrieve toys from the water while swinging on a swing by the lake.  Saturday was hectic but great.  We started pictures at 4pm, and didn't get home until after midnight!  Both girls were great for pictures, and rocked the aisle walk.  Ella collected all of the petals that they had thrown during the ceremony (my neat freak) which was the perfect activity to keep her quiet.  We had a delcious dinner, at which point Ella told us she was tired and ready to go home.  Zaydie picked her up for a sleepover. and Hannah stayed the ENTIRE night.  She had a great time on the dance floor, and was making moves on Tia Leah's date. Alex Borman.  It was a beautiful evening, and we are so excited to officially welcome Sam to the family!

Suttons Bay 2014

Our annual up north trip was packed with all different activities this year.  We ate at some of our favorites, Bluebird, Arts, Stella, Harbor House ice cream and Roman Wheel ice cream, and found a new favorite for pastries - 9 Bean Row.  We went to the beach, played tennis, did lots of monkey bars at the playground, went to Smocks in Glen Arbor for art, visited the town horses, played golf and baseball, rode scooters,  played games with grandma (Monopoly Jr and Candy Land), went to the movies and visited Old Mission Peninsula for the first time.  We went to a great playground there, picked blueberries and had lunch at the Peninsula Grill. Tonight we are going to make a blueberry pie, and tomorrow we head home.

We also celebrated our 7 year anniversary, and Hannah losing her second tooth!  She was so excited that the tooth fairy found her here.

Vacations always go by WAY too fast - time to start planning next year!  We missed Steph, Mike and Brian this year, but can't wait to see them when we get back home tomorrow.

Farewell, Charli, Tea and Sleepover

Brooke invited Charli and Hannah over for one last sleepover party before Charli heads off to Italy for the next few years for her daddy's work.  Brooke planned a tea party for her friends, and it sounds like the girls had a wonderful night.  Stef was very brave to host with Curt out of town!  Maybe we will host the next one when Charli returns in 3 years, although by then the little girls will all want to join too!.We are really going to miss the Pulis family.  They have been such an important part of our lives since the day we met 5+ years ago in our birthing class.  We can't wait to go visit them in Italy, and hear about all of their amazing adventures!
