When I picked Ella up from school recently, all the other kids were busy playing in the room, while Ella slept through it all. I carried her to pick up Hannah, then transferred her to the car, and she never woke up. This kids needs to start sleeping better at night and give up her nap.

Harsen's Island Souvenir
Hannah's class went to Harsen's Island for a field trip to the Stewart Farm last week, and we received an email to check for ticks. My mom did a check that night, but didn't see any. On Monday, Hannah got off the bus and said she felt a bump in her hair. I looked and it was a tick. We went home and I removed it with a tweezer, and did a search and found a second one on her scalp. Those ticks are not easy to pull out - they are really attached. I sent pictures to our pediatrician, and they were worried that she had deer ticks which carry Lyme Disease, so she is on a two week course of antibiotics 3x a day. I think that will be our last trip to Harsen's Island.

Trip to Meet Taylor - Indy 2016
Linde and I took the bigs (Hannah and Luke) to Indy to meet baby Taylor and visit with the Trieu family. It was such a fun road trip - Luke and Hannah were wonderful all 10 hours in the car. The older kids all played great, and Taylor is the sweetest baby ever. We ate hibachi, went to the amazing children's museum, visited with Rachael's family and just hung out while the kids played at home. Now if I can just talk Rach and Hung into moving back to Michigan!
Ella Reading
When we were in Indy, Rach mentioned that Avery is reading the BOB books. I haven't even thought to start Ella on them, but decided to get them out for her last night. She amazed me! She read the first two books with very few errors, and was so proud!
Splash Outside
Hannah finally got to start riding outside and is off the lunge line. She is still loving riding, and we are upping her lessons to 2X a week.
Passover 2016
We had a lot of family time with Aunt Steph, Unky Mike, Baby Brian, Tia Leah and Craig. We went to The Henry Ford, ate lots of meals, and Brian got to drive the car that Hannah made for him.

School Projects
The girls have been busy at school, here are two things that came home today:
Hannah's 100 day report on what she wants to do when she's 100.
And here are Ella's musings on the big bad wolf - they are doing a unit on animals. Not sure what she wrote on the first line, but the rest says "I would scream."
