Happy 3rd Birthday, Charli!

Hannah was so excited to help Charli celebrate her birthday.  The first thing she said this morning was that she was ready to go to Charli's party, and was so disappointed when I told her we had to wait.  She and Charli played in Charli's new princess tent (apparently it's for kids only, you can see Charli shutting the "windows" to keep the parents out), fed each other cake and played dress up with all of Charli's birthday gifts.  Unfortunately, Brooke wasn't feeling well and couldn't make it.  We will have to get the three girls together soon.

Ella had a nice time hanging out with Charli and Josephine's grandpa.  Jess and Dom's families are so warm and always make us feel like a part of the family.  I'm prety sure Hannah thinks of them as her grandparents, and Ella didn't want to leave "her" grandpa Pulis all night!  It made for a relaxing evening for me and Jordan, because we had no kids to take care of.

Looking forward to celebrating many more birthdays together in the future!

Outside!

Is spring finally here?

Second Haircut

I gave Ella her second haircut this morning and she now has enough hair for a little pony tail.

Easter Eggs

Hannah was born the wrong religion - between her obsession with christmas lights and anything Easter, I think it's going to be a bit disappointing when she realizes she's Jewish.  She picked out an Easter egg kit at the store a few weeks ago, and has asked every day since if we could make her Easter eggs.  We made them this morning and she is already asking if we can do it again.  Unfortunately, we only had brown eggs, but they still turned out ok.  This afternoon we walked into Home Depot, and she asked where the candy cane Christmas lights were.  Apparently she remembered our last trip there in December.  I told her she had a long wait ahead for Christmas.

WB Library with Nate

We went to the West Bloomfield Library today with Nate, and it has an incredible youth room.  Hannah got to use magnets, build with mirror blocks, read books with new friends, play a Dora Candyland computer game and put on her own puppet show.  She and Nate played so nicely today, and even held hands walking out of the library.  Hopefully by next Friday we will be switching to outdoor activities!

Cousin Sleepover

Aunt Betsy invited Hannah for a sleepover, and Hannah had the greatest time with her big cousins.  They started off in her cousin's room, but decided they needed a bigger bed so they took over Aunt Betsy's bed.

Fashionista

Hannah picked out her outfit and dressed herself today for school.  We made sure she told her teachers that she chose her own outfit...  She certainly likes to be colorful.
