We had such a nice birthday eve for Ella! My mom and grandma came over and we had a delicious spaghetti dinner and brownies for dessert. We sang and then Ella blew out the candles. After dinner, Hannah and Grandma played Candy Land. It was such a wonderful night! And Ella is topless because spaghetti is messy, and then she wouldn't put her shirt back on for dessert.

Junot's 3rd Birthday
We had Junot's dinosaur birthday party today, and it was such a nice night. The kids played well, and the adults all got to have some drinks and catch up.

Class Party - Dinner and a Movie Under the Stars
One of Hannah's classmates invited the entire class over for dinner and a movie under the stars. Such a cute idea! The kids all had a blast running around, playing on the play set and watching Ratatouille on an outdoor TV with rugs to sit on.
A Great Dane?
Our friend that's a vet thinks that Roxy is a Great Dane mix. Makes sense because she is a big girl!

Jewels
Ella has a jewel obsession, so I decided to take her on a shopping spree at Claire's for her birthday. She LOVED it. The store will never be the same after the damage Ella did there... She picked out abut $100 in jewels in 5 minutes, but we negotiated and bought just a few of her favorites.
School Update
We are so happy to have Hannah back at school! Her behavior is so much better at home, and when we pick her up for the day she never wants to leave. They have started their special classes and had French today. They have been very busy the past couple of weeks with nature walks, art projects, self portraits, PE and international dot day! I am so thankful her teacher blogs so we can keep up with what Hannah is up to at school. Here are some pictures I found:
First day drop off with dad
Coloring with friends
Nature walk
Print making with Rosie
Not sure, but Hannah doesn't look impressed
Decorating a stick from the nature walk with Karen
Self portrait over her cubby

Happy 2nd Birthday, Ella!
Happy almost 2nd birthday, Ella! We had a party at the Beverly Hills Club to celebrate. It was a Mickey themed party, with bounce houses, parachute games, basketball and music stick art projects. Ella was amazing on the big slide, climbing up and going down all by herself despite the big kids bouncing her around. She had a great time, but didn't seem to realize that the party was for her. So different from Hannah who really seemed to understand at her 2nd birthday. It worked out well since Hannah seemed to think today was all about her anyway! Hannah and I made Mickey cupcakes, and BHC supplied the creepiest Mickey cake you have ever seen.
When we got home, Ella was exhausted but powered through to help Hannah open gifts. The girls had a great time exploring their new toys - they are so lucky to have such generous friends and family. Once Ella went to bed, Hannah quickly grabbed her favorite presents and stashed them in her room. Poor Ella!
Happy almost second birthday to our sweet girl!
