Happy Passover!

Even though this is Hannah's second Passover, it was her first time getting to try out the foods at the seder. She was only willing to eat a few things, but did like the gefilte fish (gross). She was not thrilled about the group picture, but here is Hannah with all of her first cousins.

Play Date with Morgan and Sloane

Hannah and I went to see Morgan and Sloane's new house today and Hannah had a great time playing with all of their great toys. She even ate dessert with Sloane at their big kid table. We are so excited to have them back in Michigan, and are looking forward to many future play dates!

Ignore the hair, Sloane borrowed her hair clip.

Please don't let this weather be a tease.

Pigtails and a Purse

Here is Hannah ready to go meet the girls for dinner tonight. She loves to carry her purse with her everywhere she goes. When it slips down her arm, she puts it right back onto her shoulder.

Cozy Coup

I had this same Cozy Coup when I was little (see picture below). Apparently the Cozy Coup is the best selling car of all time (including Ford, GM, Toyota, etc.). It took me and Jordan an entire night to put together, so it better be her favorite toy for at least a week.

Big Girl Chair

Hannah got a new big girl chair and she loves sitting in it. We were at her friend Roger's house a few weeks ago, and she wouldn't get out of his chair so we decided it was time to get her a chair of her own.

Eating Flowers

Hannah and I took a walk through Grandma Joanie's backyard, and Hannah decided to "help" with the gardening. Little red flowers are fun to pick and even more fun to eat. We are so sad that today was our last full day in Florida. We went to a Hibachi restaurant for dinner, and I'm pretty sure that Hannah out ate her daddy. She loves japanese steak house. What's not to love?

Carousel Ride

We took Hannah to this great park with a carousel today and she loved riding the carousel! Hannah's great great Aunt Beb and Uncle Stan came with us, and she seemed to really enjoy the audience while she took her ride.

Walking Machine!

After we got back to Grandma Joanie's from the airport, I set Hannah down to show grandma how she was able to take 5-10 steps. Shockingly, Hannah chose that moment to realize that she can use walking as a method of transportation. She is everywhere now! She still falls quite a bit, but gets back up and tries again. It is frightening to watch her though - my grandma's floors are all marble so it's definitely not a soft landing. She did wipe out at the park today as I was trying to capture a picture of her walking. The photo below is what I actually got... Bring on the bumps and bruises.

Sunny Florida

Hannah, Jordan and I are in Florida for a long weekend to meet our friend's new baby. We left Detroit on-time, and were about to land in Fort Lauderdale when they decided the weather was too rough to land. We circled until we were running low on fuel, and were diverted to Miami. We fueled back up and got in line to take off - there were 30 planes in front of us. A few minutes later, they announced that due to the weather, they were not allowing planes to take off. By the time we landed back in Fort Lauderdale, we had been on the plane for over 8 hours! Hannah was a champ, and we now know she is ready to fly to Europe.

We've had a great time so far in Florida. The weather has been beautiful (other than our travel day), and we have spent a lot of time playing outdoors. We went to the park and for a long walk, and daddy got to play 9 holes with Grandma Joanie. Tomorrow we are hoping to go for a swim.

Grandma Joanie saved balloons from her birthday (6 weeks ago) and, even though they were partially deflated, Hannah has been having a blast smashing them around!

Date Night with Roger

Hannah had a great time with her buddy Roger tonight, and they both really enjoyed playing with her new balloon. Not sure why we bother buying her nice toys, since a free ballon is far more entertaining...

Bye Bye Bottles

We packed up all of Hannah's bottles and so far so good! She drank her bedtime bottle in a sippy last night, and has been drinking from her sippy all day. Such a big girl!

We went to Costco today, and Hannah was a huge fan of the free samples. She had a spinach and cheese ravioli and a frozen go-gurt. She LOVED the go-gurt. Guess I will be buying them on my next trip to the store.

One More

A friend of Stef's got this great shot of Hannah at Brooke's party! She is getting into photography, so we may have her do a family photo shoot for us.
