Sarasota

My sister and I have always celebrated birthday week, and apparently Hannah is following in our foot steps.  We went to visit Grandma Marsha in Sarasota, and Hannah got her very own birthday cake.  Good practice for next week!  Hannah devoured her cake, and also indulged in a piece of rock candy from daddy's coffee earlier in the day.  Needless to say, Hannah was bouncing off the walls from all of the sugar, and didn't want the evening to end.  On top of that, Nonna Sarah helped Hannah fill her purse with candies, and Hannah feasted the entire way back to the hotel.

Unfortunately, we didn't get to go to the beach since it was damp and rainy, but Hannah still had fun shopping on St. Armands Circle.  The fashions there are "interesting," as you can see from the picture of Hannah in her stylish hat.  The humidity there even made Hannah's hair curl up. The highlight of the trip was getting to spend time with Unky Mike and Aunt Steph who shared an adjoining room with us.  We are sad that we won't see them again until April.

Our flight home was pretty rough because a kid on the plane wouldn't stop whining and crying.  Unfortunately for us and all seated near us, it was our toddler making all of the noise.  Apparently on her tenth flight, Hannah learned that she can get away with murder on a plane because we will do anything to keep her quiet.  We are dreading the long flight to Denver...
